Platform Policies & Civic Coordination Guidelines

The rules and standards governing the use of the New Democracy infrastructure.

1. The Core Purpose: Agnostic Infrastructure

New Democracy is a data-driven coordination platform designed to support digital India by streamlining civic updates and showcasing institutional milestones through transparent, public records. It is a professional utility for synergy, administrative diplomacy, and objective insights. It is not a social network, a hostile forum, or a venue for political friction.

2. Synergistic Conduct Standards

To maintain a highly effective environment for both citizens and institutional agencies, New Democracy requires strict adherence to collaborative communication protocols.

  • Administrative Diplomacy: Users must utilize constructive, synergistic language. Items must be framed objectively as a "Service Gap" or "Infrastructure Need" rather than personal assessments.
  • Constructive Environment: Any use of aggressive, accusatory, abusive, or hostile language disrupts civic coordination and will result in an immediate suspension of coordination access.
  • Objective Focus: Users are strictly prohibited from directing negativity toward individual officials or making unverified claims of service gaps. The focus must remain exclusively on the physical milestone to be achieved.

3. Data Integrity & Verification

As a "Verified Contributor," your role is to provide a high-quality data source.

  • Factual Accuracy: All Civic Updates must be supported by clear, unedited evidence. Speculation and hearsay are not permitted.
  • Geographic Precision: Submissions must accurately reflect the specific jurisdiction, district, and pincode. Falsifying locations or submitting duplicate civic updates to skew the platform's priority alignment will lead to an automatic deactivation of contributor status.

4. Legal Disclaimer & Intermediary Status

  • Independent Action: New Democracy acts solely as an agnostic infrastructure for data exchange. Verified Contributors are entirely legally responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data they submit.
  • Compliance: The platform complies with all relevant provisions of the Information Technology Act. Content that violates Indian law, promotes hostility, or breaches these guidelines will be removed, and the associated user's synchronization access will be permanently revoked.

5. Institutional Representation & Platform Moderation

  • Official Misrepresentation: Claiming to represent a government agency, public utility, or institution without authorization is strictly prohibited. Users requesting "Official" status or registering an "Agency" are subject to manual administrative verification and must provide accurate proof of affiliation.
  • Reputation Integrity: The platform utilizes an automated reputation scoring system to recognize civic contributions and accepted solutions. Attempting to manipulate this system (e.g., through coordinated upvoting rings or creating duplicate accounts to mark solutions) will result in score resets and suspension of coordination access.
  • Administrative Oversight: Platform Administrators retain the right to suspend coordination access, reject agency verifications, and remove public content (including civic updates, comments, and media) if they determine a violation of these guidelines has occurred, often guided by our internal moderation system.
